ISLAMABAD: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said Pakistan’s economy to grow by 2.5% till 2024.

ECC approves export of 0.5 million tons of wheat

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet has granted approval for export of 0.5 million tons of wheat by Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation, Punjab and Sindh.
The meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) was held in Islamabad on Monday with Finance Minister Asad Umar in the chair.

Standard Chartered Announces Result For 3rd Quarter

KARACHI: Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited today announced its results for the nine months period ended 30 September 2018.
The Bank performed fundamentally well with a Profit before tax of PKR 12.6 billion compared to PKR 10.6 billion in corresponding period last year, delivering a growth 20 percent year on year.

ICCI welcomes govt decision to revive EDB

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the Federal Cabinet’s decision to revive the Engineering Development Board (EDB) as it would help in promoting Pakistan’s engineering industry and improving exports of engineering goods of the country.
Ahmed Hassan Moughal, President ICCI said that the developed and fast growing economies like Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand and others have achieved phenomenal economic growth by promoting the exports of engineering products.
